Erinomaiset kirjasinparit ovat välttämättömiä upealle suunnittelulle.

Fonttiparisäännöt

Tässä on joitain perussääntöjä loistavien kirjasinparien luomiseen:

1. Täydennä

On aina turvallista löytää toisiaan täydentäviä kirjasinpareja.

Loistavan kirjasinyhdistelmän tulee harmonisoitua olematta liian samanlainen tai liian erilainen.

2. Käytä Font Superfamilies

Kirjasinten superperhe on joukko fontteja, jotka on suunniteltu toimimaan hyvin yhdessä. Joten eri fonttien käyttäminen saman superperheen sisällä on turvallista.

Esimerkiksi Lucida-superperhe sisältää seuraavat kirjasimet: Lucida Sans, Lucida Serif, Lucida Typewriter Sans, Lucida Typewriter Serif ja Lucida Math.

3. Kontrasti on kuningas

Kaksi liian samankaltaista fonttia ovat usein ristiriidassa. Kontrastit kuitenkin tehty oikealla tavalla, tuo esiin kunkin fontin parhaat puolet.

Esimerkki: Serifin yhdistäminen sans serifin kanssa on hyvin tunnettu yhdistelmä.

4. Valitse Vain yksi pomo
